The locations should not be combined into one trip. Cheorwon works as a long day trip from Seoul, while Yokjido and Cheongsando require ferry planning. Deokpung Valley is best treated as a separate mountain and nature trip.
3. Goseokjeong in Cheorwon
Goseokjeong, written as 고석정, is a scenic volcanic-rock valley beside the Hantangang River in Cheorwon. The area combines a pavilion, stairways, cliffs, river views, walking paths, and access to other Cheorwon attractions.
It appeared prominently in the Season 4 Cheorwon trip titled Carry Gungye and Enjoy. The two-part trip aired on June 2 and June 9, 2024 and is commonly identified as Season 4 Episodes 229 and 230.
During the trip, the members competed for the title of Gungye, a reference to the historical ruler associated with the Cheorwon region. One mission required the selected Gungye to be carried down the stairs toward Goseokjeong without placing his feet on the ground.

Important: Steep Stairs and River Conditions
The route toward the lower river viewpoint includes stairs and uneven surfaces. Rain, snow, ice, river conditions, maintenance, and seasonal boat operations can affect access. Do not recreate the carrying mission on busy stairs.
How to visit from Seoul
Cheorwon is north of Seoul and is not connected to the central Seoul subway network like a normal city neighborhood. Travelers usually combine an intercity or regional bus with a local bus or taxi.
A rental car, organized tour, or carefully planned taxi route makes it easier to combine Goseokjeong with other Cheorwon attractions. Check the return transportation before leaving Seoul because evening regional services can be limited.

How to reach Yokjido
Travel first to Tongyeong, then continue to a ferry terminal that currently serves Yokjido. The departure port and sailing timetable should be checked directly with the ferry operator because routes can change.
Passengers bringing a vehicle may need advance booking and an earlier arrival. Walk-on visitors should still plan island transportation because beaches, viewpoints, restaurants, and villages are spread out.

KBS archive uploads identify the Season 1 Global Special on Cheongsando through episodes labeled 105, 106, and part of 107. The trip brought international guests to the island and used its villages, outdoor spaces, meals, and landscapes for games and travel segments.
Cheongsando later appeared again in Season 3 during the team-building trip commonly associated with Episode 493. This makes the island one of the program’s recurring destinations rather than a one-time background.

6. Deokpung Valley Village in Samcheok
Deokpung Valley Village, written as 덕풍계곡마을, is located in a remote mountain area of Samcheok. Korea Tourism Organization material identifies the village as a filming location for 2 Days & 1 Night and describes it as a trekking and rural-experience destination.
The valley is known for clear water, deep pools, forest, rocky terrain, trekking routes, camping, and village-based activities. It should not be treated as a simple roadside photo stop.

Because old Season 1 numbering differs across broadcast archives and later uploads, this location should be described as a verified legacy program location without assigning an unsupported universal episode number.

Heavy rain, rising water, cold temperatures, damaged paths, wildfire warnings, snow, and seasonal management can affect access. Do not enter deep pools, jump from rocks, or continue beyond an official closure.
Who should visit?
The valley is best for travelers who already want a nature trip and are prepared for regional transportation. It is not efficient for someone who only wants one filming-location photograph.
Wear suitable shoes, carry water, check daylight, and confirm how you will return. Mobile coverage and transport availability may be less reliable than in a city.
7. Restaurants, Markets, and Broadcast Meals
Food is central to 2 Days & 1 Night, but broadcast meals require more verification than public parks. A restaurant may change its name, menu, owner, operating days, or reservation system after appearing on television.

8. Temporary Sets and Locations Fans Cannot Visit
Many memorable games were filmed in spaces that do not remain as attractions. The production may rent a field, close part of a road, use a private pension, install temporary equipment, or receive special permission from residents.

None of these places uses a special 2 Days & 1 Night admission ticket. Normal attraction, ferry, activity, restaurant, and accommodation rules apply.
