How much of the stream should you walk?
Do not walk the entire stream only because it continues east. Use the central section for photographs, then return to street level and continue toward Dongdaemun by subway, bus, or a selected surface route.
Walking all the way to DDP may take longer than expected and reduce the time available for the afternoon locations. A partial stream walk gives the atmosphere without turning the morning into a long-distance exercise.
Weather and safety
Lower stream paths can be restricted during heavy rain or flooding risk. Follow gates, signs, public announcements, and staff instructions. Use the street-level path when the lower route is closed.

Best DDP photo strategy
Walk around the exterior instead of searching for one exact camera point. Wide compositions work well near the curved walls, ramps, and open plaza. Night lighting can be attractive, but keeping DDP in the afternoon makes the two-day route more efficient.

Choose one section rather than trying to cover the entire park. A relaxed route through the central paths and pond area leaves enough energy for dinner in Seongsu.
6. Day 1 Evening: Seongsu
